Tried all three grips, settled on the M (medium) but still would like a bit of a thicker/maybe palm swell grip. That not being available I installed a Talon "PRO" grip that Talon produces for the Rival (not S) and it fits fine.I suppose the chrome could wear better than the Dark Side, though I’m not seeing any appreciable wear on my dark side after a couple thousand rounds. As for the grip, they feel the same to me. That said, I plan on dressing them up with some grip tape, and am open to messing around with any aftermarket grip options if/when they come available.Some say it's too heavy and when I shot my TP9 SFX side by side to the Rival Steel, give me steel/weight everyday. But then again, I prefer a gun in the 41-43oz range. I put the small grip back on because I was able to hit the mag release better with it.
